Electrical & Electronic Systems
Electrical or electronic system problems in turret punches, brakes, presses, shears, mills, die casters, data carding machines and many other fabrication and manufacturing processes all have one thing in common — the various components used within them to control their circuits.
Control relays, switches, contactors, starters, and various indication devices are components at one level of complexity but a circuit may also include a PLC (programmable logic controller) or CNC (computer numeric control) with solid state input sensors and output devices.
When the symptoms indicate an electrical circuit could be responsible for some equipment failure, Machine Service Corp tests components based on manufacturers' machine drawings. If good documentation for the machine is available it often can be a matter of minutes before the problem is identified.
Many power management components involved in electrical circuits are common and available within a matter of hours. It is rare to need to return to the equipment manufacturer for electrical repair parts. Down time is minimized and part costs are often far more reasonable when purchased locally.
"Machine Service Corporation has always been very responsive to our calls. If we have a machine down, they can come in to diagnose the problems very quickly. Service calls are high-priority. We run laser, turret, brakes, punch presses, and a large variety of other metal working machinery and they have serviced and repaired all of them. We give them 2 thumbs up!"—Darsey Hohl, R & M Manufacturing Co.
